To us, art isn't just about the obscure works found in art galleries, museums, and galleries. Art can also be a reflection of life; a record of individual consciousness; a reconstruction of reality; an outpouring of emotions. Like a piece of photocopy paper, it captures all the soft, sharp, tangible, and intangible moments that flow through.

Whenever we find ourselves overwhelmed by reality and our surroundings, fortunately, we have art as a sanctuary.

We are Weekend Gallery, a public WeChat account dedicated to humanities and arts that hopes to brighten your day with brief texts.

On weekends, we bring you fresh reads: perhaps artists, artworks, and art movements that resonate with us; recommended lists of books, songs, and movies from our editorial team; or even special projects, interviews, and podcasts.
